धौम्येन तु यथ परॊक्तं पार्थाय सुमहात्मने नाम्नाम अष्ट शतं पुण्यं तच छृणुष्व महामते ।। ३-३-१७ ।।

'Vaisampayana continued, 'O king of kings, set a time for it. I shall recount everything in detail. Listen, O illustrious one, to the one hundred and eight names of the sun, as they were revealed long ago by Dhaumya to the high-souled son of Pritha.'' ।। 3-3-17 ।।

english translation

dhaumyena tu yatha paròktaM pArthAya sumahAtmane nAmnAma aSTa zataM puNyaM taca chRNuSva mahAmate || 3-3-17 ||
