ये तद भक्ता वसन्ति सम वनवासे तपस्विनः तान अब्रुवन महात्मानः शिष्टाः पराज्ञलयस तदा अभ्यनुज्ञापयिष्यन्तस तं निवासं धृतव्रताः ॥ ३-२९९-२ ॥

sanskrit

'Those devoted ascetics who dwelt with them during their forest exile— to them, the great-souled and disciplined Pandavas, with joined palms, spoke respectfully, seeking their permission before departing from that dwelling.' ॥ 3-299-2 ॥

english translation

ye tada bhaktA vasanti sama vanavAse tapasvinaH tAna abruvana mahAtmAnaH ziSTAH parAjJalayasa tadA abhyanujJApayiSyantasa taM nivAsaM dhRtavratAH ॥ 3-299-2 ॥
