अभ्येत्य चाश्रमं वीराः सर्व एव गतक्लमाः आरणेयं ददुस तस्मै बराह्मणाय तपस्विने ॥ ३-२९८-२६ ॥
'The valiant ones, their fatigue now gone, returned to the hermitage, and respectfully returned the fire-sticks to that ascetic Brahmana.' ॥ 3-298-26 ॥
english translation
इदं समुत्थान समागमं महत; पितुश च पुत्रस्य च कीर्तिवर्धनम पठन नरः सयाद विजीतेन्द्रियॊ वशी; सपुत्रपौत्रः शतवर्ष भाग भवेत ॥ ३-२९८-२७ ॥
'That man who follows this illustrious and fame-enhancing tale—of the revival of the Pandavas and the divine meeting between father and son, Dharma and Yudhishthira—shall attain perfect peace of mind, be blessed with sons and grandsons, and enjoy a long life extending to a hundred years.' ॥ 3-298-27 ॥
english translation
न चाप्य अधर्मे न सुहृद विभेदने; परस्वहारे परदारमर्शने कदर्य भावे न रमेन मनॊ सदा; नृणां सदाख्यानम इदं विजानताम ॥ ३-२९८-२८ ॥
'And the mind of that man who lays this story to heart never delights in unrighteousness, nor in discord among friends, nor in coveting the wealth of others, nor in defiling another’s wife, nor in impure thoughts.' ॥ 3-298-28 ॥
