[य] सूर्य एकॊ विचरति चन्द्रमा जायते पुनः अग्निर हिमस्य भैषज्यं भूमिर आपवनं महत ॥ ३-२९७-४७ ॥

sanskrit

'Yudhishthira answered: "The sun journeys alone across the sky; the moon is reborn anew each month. Fire is the remedy against the cold, and the Earth is the greatest purifier."' ।। 3-297-47 ।।

english translation

[ya] sUrya ekò vicarati candramA jAyate punaH agnira himasya bhaiSajyaM bhUmira ApavanaM mahata ॥ 3-297-47 ॥
