[वै] स ददर्श हतान भरातॄँल लॊकपालान इव चयुतान युगान्ते समनुप्राप्ते शक्र परतिमगौरवान ॥ ३-२९७-१ ॥

sanskrit

'Yudhishthira beheld his brothers — each radiant with the glory of Indra himself — lying lifeless on the ground, like the Regents of the world fallen from their celestial realms at the end of a Yuga.' ॥ 3-297-1 ॥

english translation

[vai] sa dadarza hatAna bharAtRR~la lòkapAlAna iva cayutAna yugAnte samanuprApte zakra paratimagauravAna ॥ 3-297-1 ॥
