हिरण्यकण्ठीः परमदा गरामान वा बहु गॊकुलान किं ददानीति तं विप्रम उवाचाधिरथिस ततः ॥ ३-२९४-२ ॥
'Adhiratha's son then said to the Brāhmaṇa, 'Of a golden necklace, beauteous maidens, or villages abounding in cattle — which of these shall I give thee?'' ॥ 3-294-2 ॥
