[वै] ततः सा वरीडिता बाला तदा सूर्यम अथाब्रवीत एवम अस्त्व इति राजेन्द्रप्रस्थितं भूरि वर्चसम ॥ ३-२९१-२६ ॥
'Then, O foremost of kings, as the radiant Surya prepared to depart, the maiden, blushing with modesty, softly said, ‘So be it!’' ॥ 3-291-26 ॥
english translation
[vai] tataH sA varIDitA bAlA tadA sUryama athAbravIta evama astva iti rAjendraprasthitaM bhUri varcasama ॥ 3-291-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइति समॊक्ता कुन्ति राजात्मजा सा; विवस्वन्तं याचमाना सलज्जा तस्मिन पुण्ये शयनीये पपात; मॊहाविष्टा भज्यमाना लतेव ॥ ३-२९१-२७ ॥
'Thus it was that Kuntibhoja's daughter, having invoked a son from him, fell unconscious upon her fine bed, like a delicate vine severed at its root.' ॥ 3-291-27 ॥
english translation
iti samòktA kunti rAjAtmajA sA; vivasvantaM yAcamAnA salajjA tasmina puNye zayanIye papAta; mòhAviSTA bhajyamAnA lateva ॥ 3-291-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतां तिग्मांशुस तेजसा मॊहयित्वा; यॊगेनाविष्यात्म संस्थां चकार न चैवैनां दूषयाम आस भानुः; संज्ञां लेभे भूय एवाथ बाला ॥ ३-२९१-२८ ॥
'Thus, the deity of fierce rays, stupefying her with his brilliance, entered her by the power of Yoga and placed his own self within her womb. Yet, the deity did not defile her by physical union. After Surya departed, the maiden regained her consciousness.' ॥ 3-291-28 ॥

tAM tigmAMzusa tejasA mòhayitvA; yògenAviSyAtma saMsthAM cakAra na caivainAM dUSayAma Asa bhAnuH; saMjJAM lebhe bhUya evAtha bAlA ॥ 3-291-28 ॥
