कषमा सविच छरेयसी तात उपाहॊ तेज इत्य उत एतन मे संशयं तात यथावद बरूहि पृच्छते ॥ ३-२९-३ ॥

'O revered one, is forgiveness more virtuous, or is might and energy superior? I am uncertain about this matter. Please enlighten me, O master of duty, and tell me which of these is truly more meritorious.' ॥ 3-29-3 ॥

english translation

kaSamA savica chareyasI tAta upAhò teja itya uta etana me saMzayaM tAta yathAvada barUhi pRcchate ॥ 3-29-3 ॥
