अनेन निश्चयेनेह वयं परस्थापिता नृप पराप्तानीमानि यानानि चतुरङ्गं च ते बलम ॥ ३-२८३-६ ॥

'And they said, 'We have been sent to you in consequence of that resolve. Your chariot and your four-fold army have arrived for you!'' ॥ 3-283-6 ॥

anena nizcayeneha vayaM parasthApitA nRpa parAptAnImAni yAnAni caturaGgaM ca te balama ॥ 3-283-6 ॥

परयाहि राजन भद्रं ते घुष्टस ते नगरे जयः अध्यास्स्व चिररात्राय पितृपैतामहं पदम ॥ ३-२८३-७ ॥

'Good fortune be yours, O King! Come forth! You have been proclaimed in the city. May you forever occupy the throne of your fathers and forefathers!' ॥ 3-283-7 ॥

parayAhi rAjana bhadraM te ghuSTasa te nagare jayaH adhyAssva cirarAtrAya pitRpaitAmahaM padama ॥ 3-283-7 ॥

चक्षुर मन्तं च तं दृष्ट्वा राजानं वपुषान्वितम मूर्धभिः पतिताः सर्वे विस्मयॊत्फुल्ललॊचनाः ॥ ३-२८३-८ ॥

'Upon beholding the king restored to sight and in full health, they prostrated themselves with their heads bowed, their eyes wide with wonder.' ॥ 3-283-8 ॥

cakSura mantaM ca taM dRSTvA rAjAnaM vapuSAnvitama mUrdhabhiH patitAH sarve vismayòtphullalòcanAH ॥ 3-283-8 ॥

ततॊ ऽभिवाद्य तान वृद्धान दविजान आश्रमवासिनः तैश चाभिपूजितः सर्वैः परययौ नगरं परति ॥ ३-२८३-९ ॥

'After worshipping the aged Brahmanas dwelling in the hermitage and receiving their blessings in return, the king departed for his city.' ॥ 3-283-9 ॥

tatò 'bhivAdya tAna vRddhAna davijAna AzramavAsinaH taiza cAbhipUjitaH sarvaiH parayayau nagaraM parati ॥ 3-283-9 ॥

शैब्या च सह सावित्र्या सवास्तीर्णेन सुवर्चसा नरयुक्तेन यानेन परययौ सेनया वृता ॥ ३-२८३-१० ॥

'Surrounded by soldiers, Satyavan also accompanied by Savitri traveled in a palanquin adorned with gleaming cloth and carried on the shoulders of men.' ॥ 3-283-10 ॥
