सतां सकृत संगतम ईप्सितं परं; ततः परं मित्रम इति परचक्षते न चाफलं सत्पुरुषेण संगतं; ततः सतां संनिवसेत समागमे ॥ ३-२८१-२९ ॥

'Even a single meeting with the pious is greatly prized; friendship with them is prized still more. Association with the virtuous never fails to bear fruit. Therefore, one should dwell in the company of the righteous.' ।। 3-281-29 ।।

english translation

satAM sakRta saMgatama IpsitaM paraM; tataH paraM mitrama iti paracakSate na cAphalaM satpuruSeNa saMgataM; tataH satAM saMnivaseta samAgame ॥ 3-281-29 ॥
