अतितीव्रॊ ऽयम आरम्भस तवयारब्धॊ नृपात्मजे तिसृणां वसतीनां हि सथानं परमदुष्करम ॥ ३-२८०-५ ॥
'O daughter of a king, this vow you have begun is most austere, for to fast for three nights without pause is a task of extreme difficulty—even for the steadfast.' ॥ 3-280-5 ॥
