निरीक्षमाणा भर्तारं सर्वावस्थम अनिन्दिता मृतम एव हि तं मेने काले मुनिवचॊ समरन ॥ ३-२८०-३२ ॥

'But the faultless Savitri continued to observe her lord in all his states, and recalling the words of the celestial sage, she accepted that her husband was indeed dead.' ॥ 3-280-32 ॥

english translation

nirIkSamANA bhartAraM sarvAvasthama aninditA mRtama eva hi taM mene kAle munivacò samarana ॥ 3-280-32 ॥
