अनुरूपॊ हि संयॊगे तवं ममाहं तवापि च सनुषां परतीच्छ मे कन्यां भार्यां सत्यवतः सुताम ॥ ३-२७९-१२ ॥
'O King, it is not fitting for you to reject me, who has come to you with heartfelt affection! We are equals, perfectly suited for this alliance—you for me, and I for you. Therefore, accept my virtuous daughter as your daughter-in-law, the worthy bride of the noble Satyavan.' ॥ 3-279-12 ॥
