इदं मे वचनं शरुत्वा भर्तुर अन्वेषणे तवर देवतानां यथा वाच्यॊ न भवेयं तथा कुरु ॥ ३-२७७-३६ ॥
'Therefore, hearing these words of mine, set forth and seek a worthy husband. Do all that is proper, dear daughter, so that we may not fall under the censure of the gods.' ॥ 3-277-36 ॥
english translation
[मार्क] एवम उक्त्वा दुहितरं तथा वृद्धांश चमन्त्रिणः वयादिदेशानुयात्रं च गम्यताम इत्य अचॊदयत ॥ ३-२७७-३७ ॥
'Markandeya said, 'Thus addressing both his daughter and his senior ministers, the king instructed the attendants, saying, "Let her depart with a proper escort."' ॥ 3-277-37 ॥
english translation
साभिवाद्य पितुः पादौ वरीडितेव मनस्विनी पितुर वचनम आज्ञाय निर्जगामाविचारितम ॥ ३-२७७-३८ ॥
'Bowing bashfully at her father’s feet, the meek and high-minded maiden set forth at once, in full compliance with his words, without pause or doubt.' ॥ 3-277-38 ॥

सा हैमं रथम आस्थाय सथविरैः सचिवैर वृता तपॊवनानि रम्याणि राजर्षीणां जगाम अह ॥ ३-२७७-३९ ॥
'And ascending a golden chariot, she journeyed to the tranquil hermitages of the royal sages, accompanied by her father’s aged counselors.' ॥ 3-277-39 ॥

मान्यानां तत्र वृद्धानां कृत्वा पादाभिवन्दनम वनानि करमशस तात सर्वाण्य एवाभ्यगच्छत ॥ ३-२७७-४० ॥
'Reverently saluting the aged sages, she wandered through the woods, O son, step by step.' ॥ 3-277-40 ॥
