तथैवेन्द्र जितं यत्तं लक्ष्मणॊ मर्मभेदिभिः इन्द्रजिच चापि सौमित्रिं बिभेद बहुभिः शरैः ।। ३-२६९-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'In the same way, Lakshmana struck the opposing Indrajit with arrows aimed at his most vital points, while Indrajit, in turn, showered Sumitra's son with a barrage of arrows.' ।। 3-269-12 ।।

english translation

tathaivendra jitaM yattaM lakSmaNò marmabhedibhiH indrajica cApi saumitriM bibheda bahubhiH zaraiH || 3-269-12 ||
