अकृतात्मानम आसाद्य राजानम अनये रतम विनश्यन्त्य अनयाविष्टा देशाश च नगराणि च ॥ ३-२६८-११ ॥
'Provinces and towns, due to their association with sinful kings who are incapable of controlling their desires, become polluted and ultimately face destruction.' ॥ 3-268-11 ॥
english translation
akRtAtmAnama AsAdya rAjAnama anaye ratama vinazyantya anayAviSTA dezAza ca nagarANi ca ॥ 3-268-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतवयैकेनापराद्धं मे सीताम आहरता बलात वधायानपराद्धानाम अन्येषां तद भविष्यति ॥ ३-२६८-१२ ॥
'By the violent abduction of Sita, you alone have wronged me! However, you will become the cause of death for many innocent people.' ॥ 3-268-12 ॥
english translation
tavayaikenAparAddhaM me sItAma AharatA balAta vadhAyAnaparAddhAnAma anyeSAM tada bhaviSyati ॥ 3-268-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptये तवया बलदर्पाभ्याम आविष्टेन वनेचराः ऋषयॊ हिंसिताः पूर्वं देवाश चाप्य अवमानिताः ॥ ३-२६८-१३ ॥
'Possessed of power and consumed by pride, thou hast previously slain many Rishis dwelling in the forests and insulted the gods themselves.' ॥ 3-268-13 ॥
english translation
ye tavayA baladarpAbhyAma AviSTena vanecarAH RSayò hiMsitAH pUrvaM devAza cApya avamAnitAH ॥ 3-268-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptराजर्षयश च निहता रुदन्त्यश चाहृताः सत्रियः तद इदं समनुप्राप्तं फलं तस्यानयस्य ते ॥ ३-२६८-१४ ॥
'Thou hast also slain numerous great kings and caused many women to weep. For these transgressions, retribution is now imminent. I will slay thee along with thy counsellors. Fight, and show thy courage!' ॥ 3-268-14 ॥

rAjarSayaza ca nihatA rudantyaza cAhRtAH satriyaH tada idaM samanuprAptaM phalaM tasyAnayasya te ॥ 3-268-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहन्तास्मि तवां सहामात्यं युध्यस्व पुरुषॊ भव पश्य मे धनुषॊ वीर्यं मानुषस्य निशाचर ॥ ३-२६८-१५ ॥
'I shall destroy you along with your ministers. Fight and prove yourself a man. O demon of the night, witness the power of my bow, ॥ wielded by॥ a human.' ॥ 3-268-15 ॥

hantAsmi tavAM sahAmAtyaM yudhyasva puruSò bhava pazya me dhanuSò vIryaM mAnuSasya nizAcara ॥ 3-268-15 ॥
