नावॊ न सन्ति सेनाया बह्व्यस तारयितुं तथा वणिजाम उपघातं च कथम अस्मद्विधश चरेत ।। ३-२६७-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'This proposal you have made is, therefore, unreasonable. Moreover, we do not have the necessary number of boats to carry all our troops. How, then, can one like us create such obstacles for the merchants?' ।। 3-267-28 ।।

english translation

nAvò na santi senAyA bahvyasa tArayituM tathA vaNijAma upaghAtaM ca kathama asmadvidhaza careta || 3-267-28 ||
