अनेकशतविस्तीर्णं यॊजनानां महॊदधिम तिमिनक्र झषावासं चिन्तयन्तः सुदुःखिताः ।। ३-२६६-४४ ।।

sanskrit

'Overcome with dejection and afflicted by pain, starving with hunger, we lost all hope of returning alive. As we gazed upon the vast ocean, stretching for hundreds of Yojanas and teeming with whales, alligators, and other aquatic creatures, our hearts were filled with anxiety and sorrow.' ।। 3-266-44 ।।

anekazatavistIrNaM yòjanAnAM mahòdadhima timinakra jhaSAvAsaM cintayantaH suduHkhitAH || 3-266-44 ||
