सॊ ऽनतर्हितः पुनस तस्य दर्शनं राक्षसॊ वरजन चकर्ष महद अध्वानं रामस तं बुबुधे ततः ॥ ३-२६२-२० ॥
'That Rākṣasa lured Rāma far away, appearing before him at times and vanishing the next. At last, Rāma realized the true nature of the deer—that it was, in fact, a Rākṣasa.' ॥ 3-262-20 ॥
