[मार्क] जातपुत्रॊ दशरथः परीतिमान अभवन नृपः करिया रतिर धर्मपरः सततं वृद्धसेविता ॥ ३-२६१-३ ॥
'Markandeya said, "The righteous king Dasharatha, always attentive to the elderly and devoted to religious duties, was overjoyed when his sons were born."' ॥ 3-261-3 ॥
