करमेण चास्य ते पुत्रा वयवर्धन्त महौजसः वेदेषु सहरस्येषु धनुर्वेदे च पारगाः ॥ ३-२६१-४ ॥

sanskrit

'As they grew, they became mighty and well-versed in the Vedas and all their mysteries, as well as in the science of arms.' ॥ 3-261-4 ॥

english translation

karameNa cAsya te putrA vayavardhanta mahaujasaH vedeSu saharasyeSu dhanurvede ca pAragAH ॥ 3-261-4 ॥
