दासॊ ऽसमीति तवया वाच्यं संसत्सु च सभासु च एवं ते जीवितं दद्याम एष युद्धजितॊ विधिः ।। ३-२५६-११ ।।

sanskrit

'I am your servant - this you should declare in assemblies and courts. Only then shall I grant you your life. This is the law/rule of the victorious in battle.' ।। 3-256-11 ।।

english translation

dAsò 'samIti tavayA vAcyaM saMsatsu ca sabhAsu ca evaM te jIvitaM dadyAma eSa yuddhajitò vidhiH || 3-256-11 ||
