हतेषु तेषु वीरेषु सिन्धुराजॊ जयद्रथः विमुच्य कृष्णां संत्रस्तः पलायनपरॊ ऽभवत ॥ ३-२५५-३२ ॥
'When Jayadratha, the king of Sindhu, witnessed the carnage of his troops, he was filled with terror and, consumed by fear, sought to flee, abandoning Krishna behind.' ॥ 3-255-32 ॥
