इत्य एते वै कथिताः पाण्डुपुत्रा; यांस तवं मॊहाद अवमन्य परवृत्तः यद्य एतैस तवं मुच्यसे ऽरिष्टदेहः; पुनर्जन्म पराप्स्यसे जीव एव ॥ ३-२५४-२० ॥
'Thus have I described to thee the prowess of the Pāṇḍavas, whom, in thy folly, thou hast chosen to disregard. If thou escape unscathed from them, it shall be as if thou hast been granted a new lease on life.' ॥ 3-254-20 ॥
