नास्यापराद्धाः शेषम इहाप्नुवन्ति; नाप्य अस्य वैरं विस्मरते कदा चित वैरस्यान्तं संविधायॊपयाति; पश्चाच छान्तिं न च गच्छत्य अतीव ॥ ३-२५४-११ ॥
'Those who wrong him are never spared. He never forgets a foe and finds some pretext to exact his vengeance. Even after inflicting decisive retribution, his fury does not subside.' ॥ 3-254-11 ॥
english translation
मृदुर वदान्यॊ धृतिमान यशस्वी; जितेन्द्रियॊ वृद्धसेवी नृवीरः भराता च शिष्यश च युधिष्ठिरस्य; धनंजयॊ नाम पतिर ममैषः ॥ ३-२५४-१२ ॥
'There stands that foremost of bowmen—wise, renowned, and master of his senses, ever reverent toward the elders. Both brother and disciple of Yudhishthira, he is none other than my husband, Dhanañjaya!' ॥ 3-254-12 ॥

यॊ वै न कामान न भयान न लॊभात; तयजेद धर्मं न नृशंसं च कुर्यात स एष वैश्वानरतुल्यतेजाः; कुन्तीसुतः शत्रुसहः परमाथी ॥ ३-२५४-१३ ॥
'He never forsakes virtue—neither for desire, fear, nor anger—nor does he ever commit a cruel act. Endued with the brilliance of fire and invincible against his foes, that subduer of enemies is the son of Kunti.' ॥ 3-254-13 ॥

यः सर्वधर्मार्थविनिश्चयज्ञॊ; भयार्तानां भयहर्ता मनीषी यस्यॊत्तमं रूपम आहुः पृथिव्यां; यं पाण्डवाः परिरक्षन्ति सर्वे ॥ ३-२५४-१४ ॥
'And that youth, well-versed in every matter of duty and wealth, who dispels the fears of the distressed, endowed with great wisdom, and celebrated as the most handsome in the world— he, whom all the sons of Pāṇḍu protect.' ॥ 3-254-14 ॥

पराणैर गरीयांसम अनुव्रतं वै; स एष वीरॊ नकुलः पतिर मे यः खड्गयॊधी लघुचित्रहस्तॊ; महांश च धीमान सहदेवॊ ऽदवितीयः ॥ ३-२५४-१५ ॥
'Cherishing him more than their own lives for his unwavering devotion, is my husband, the mighty Nakula. Endowed with great wisdom and accompanied by Sahadeva, he wields the sword with unmatched skill, executing swift and masterful strokes in battle.' ॥ 3-254-15 ॥
