देवाः साध्यास तथा विश्वे मरुतश च महर्षिभिः यामा धामाश च मौद्गल्य गन्धर्वाप्सरसस तथा ॥ ३-२४७-६ ॥

'There, O Mudgala, lie countless radiant and resplendent worlds, each bestowing every object of desire. These celestial realms are the domains of the gods, the Sadhyas, the Vishwadevas along with the great sages.' ॥ 3-247-6 ॥

english translation

devAH sAdhyAsa tathA vizve marutaza ca maharSibhiH yAmA dhAmAza ca maudgalya gandharvApsarasasa tathA ॥ 3-247-6 ॥

एषां देव निकायानां पृथक्पृथग अनेकशः भास्वन्तः कामसंपन्ना लॊकास तेजॊमयाः शुभाः ॥ ३-२४७-७ ॥

'These divine hosts have many separate/distinct realms that are radiant, fulfilled with all desires, full of splendor , and auspicious.' ॥ 3-247-7 ॥

eSAM deva nikAyAnAM pRthakpRthaga anekazaH bhAsvantaH kAmasaMpannA lòkAsa tejòmayAH zubhAH ॥ 3-247-7 ॥

तरयस तरिंशत सहस्राणि यॊजनानां हिरण्मयः मेरुः पर्वतराड यत्र देवॊद्यानानि मुद्गल ॥ ३-२४७-८ ॥

'There also stands the golden Mount Meru, the king of mountains, spanning a vast expanse of thirty-three thousand yojanas.' ॥ 3-247-8 ॥

tarayasa tariMzata sahasrANi yòjanAnAM hiraNmayaH meruH parvatarADa yatra devòdyAnAni mudgala ॥ 3-247-8 ॥

नन्दनादीनि पुण्यानि विहाराः पुण्यकर्मणाम न कषुत्पिपासे न गलानिर न शीतॊष्णभयं तथा ॥ ३-२४७-९ ॥

'And there, O Mudgala, lie the sacred celestial gardens, with Nandana at their forefront, where the righteous enjoy divine delights.' ॥ 3-247-9 ॥

nandanAdIni puNyAni vihArAH puNyakarmaNAma na kaSutpipAse na galAnira na zItòSNabhayaM tathA ॥ 3-247-9 ॥

बीभत्सम अशुभं वापि रॊगा वा तत्र के चन मनॊ जञाः सर्वतॊ गन्धाः सुखस्पर्शाश च सर्वशः ॥ ३-२४७-१० ॥

'In that realm, there is no hunger, no thirst, no weariness, nor fear—nothing inauspicious or unpleasant exists.' ॥ 3-247-10 ॥

bIbhatsama azubhaM vApi rògA vA tatra ke cana manò jaJAH sarvatò gandhAH sukhasparzAza ca sarvazaH ॥ 3-247-10 ॥
