कृतस्य कर्मणस तत्र भुज्यते यत फलं दिवि न चान्यत करियते कर्म मूलछेदेन भुज्यते ॥ ३-२४७-२८ ॥

'In the celestial regions, a person, while enjoying the fruits of their past actions, cannot engage in new deeds. They must experience the consequences of their past deeds until they are fully exhausted.' ।। 3-247-28 ।।

kRtasya karmaNasa tatra bhujyate yata phalaM divi na cAnyata kariyate karma mUlachedena bhujyate ॥ 3-247-28 ॥
