sanskrit

'In the celestial regions, a person, while enjoying the fruits of their past actions, cannot engage in new deeds. They must experience the consequences of their past deeds until they are fully exhausted.' ।। 3-247-28 ।।

english translation

kRtasya karmaNasa tatra bhujyate yata phalaM divi na cAnyata kariyate karma mUlachedena bhujyate || 3-247-28 ||
