ईर्ष्या शॊकक्लमापेता मॊहमात्सर्य वर्जिताः सुखं सवर्गजितस तत्र वर्तयन्ति महामुने ।। ३-२४७-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Free from envy, sorrow, fatigue, ignorance, and malice, those who have attained heaven dwell there in perfect bliss.' ।। 3-247-16 ।।

english translation

IrSyA zòkaklamApetA mòhamAtsarya varjitAH sukhaM savargajitasa tatra vartayanti mahAmune || 3-247-16 ||

'Among these, the most beautiful and resplendent are the regions of Brahma. To these realms, O Brahmana, repair the Rishis who have been sanctified through their meritorious deeds.' ।। 3-247-18 ।।

purastAda barahmaNasa tatra lòkAsa tejòmayAH zubhAH yatra yAntya RSayò barahmana pUtAH savaiH karmabhiH zubhaiH || 3-247-18 ||

'And there dwell beings known as the Ribhus, revered as the gods of the gods themselves. Their realms are supremely blessed, adored even by the deities.' ।। 3-247-19 ।।

'They shine with their own radiance and grant every object of desire. They suffer no pangs that might be caused by women, nor do they possess worldly wealth. They are free from guile, dwelling in pure bliss.' ।। 3-247-20 ।।

savayaMprabhAsa te bhAsvantò lòkAH kAmadughAH pare na teSAM satrIkRtasa tApò na lòkaizvaryamatsaraH || 3-247-20 ||
