[य] भगवन दानधर्माणं तपसॊ वा महामुने किं सविद बहुगुणं परेत्य किं वा दुष्करम उच्यते ॥ ३-२४५-२६ ॥

sanskrit

'Yudhishthira said: "O most virtuous one, O great sage, between charity and asceticism, which bears greater fruit in the next world? And which is more difficult to practice?"' ।। 3-245-26 ।।

english translation

[ya] bhagavana dAnadharmANaM tapasò vA mahAmune kiM savida bahuguNaM paretya kiM vA duSkarama ucyate ॥ 3-245-26 ॥
