संगम्य सूतपुत्रेण कर्णेनाहव शॊभिना दुर्यॊधनः परिये नित्यं वर्तमानॊ महीपतिः पूजयाम आस विप्रेन्द्रान करतुभिर भूरिदक्षिणैः ।। ३-२४३-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'With the assistance of Karna, the Suta’s son, crowned with martial glory, Duryodhana remained ever devoted to the welfare of the kings of the earth. He worshipped the foremost Brahmanas by performing sacrifices and offering abundant gifts.' ।। 3-243-23 ।।

english translation

saMgamya sUtaputreNa karNenAhava zòbhinA duryòdhanaH pariye nityaM vartamAnò mahIpatiH pUjayAma Asa viprendrAna karatubhira bhUridakSiNaiH || 3-243-23 ||
