एतच छरुत्वा धर्मसुतः समुद्विग्नॊ नराधिप अभेद्यकवचं मत्वा कर्णम अद्भुतविक्रमम अनुस्मरंश च संक्लेशान न शान्तिम उपयाति सः ॥ ३-२४३-२० ॥
'Hearing this, O lord of men, the son of Dharma became deeply anxious. Reflecting on Karna, whose impenetrable armor marked him as a warrior of extraordinary prowess, and recalling the many hardships they had faced, he found no peace.' ॥ 3-243-20 ॥
