विदुरस तव एवम आज्ञप्तः सर्ववर्णान अरिंदम यथा परमाणतॊ विद्वान पूजयाम आस धर्मवित ॥ ३-२४२-२१ ॥
'Thereupon, O vanquisher of foes, the learned Vidura, well-versed in righteousness, cheerfully obeying the command, entertained all the orders with appropriate offerings.' ॥ 3-242-21 ॥
english translation
भक्ष्यभॊज्यान्न पानेन माल्यैश चापि सुगन्धिभिः वासॊभिर विविधैश चैव यॊजयाम आस हृष्टवत ॥ ३-२४२-२२ ॥
'He joyfully arranged meats, beverages, fragrant garlands, and various kinds of attire—each in proper measure.' ॥ 3-242-22 ॥
english translation
कृत्वा हय अवभृथं वीरॊ यथाशास्त्रं यथाक्रमम सान्त्वयित्वा च राजेन्द्रॊ दत्त्वा च विविधं वसु विसर्जयाम आस नृपान बराह्मणांश च सहस्रशः ॥ ३-२४२-२३ ॥
'And having constructed pavilions for their accommodation, that hero, the foremost of kings, duly entertained the princes and Brahmanas by the thousand.' ॥ 3-242-23 ॥

विसर्जयित्वा स नृपान भरातृभिः परिवारितः विवेश हास्तिनपुरं सहितः कर्ण सौबलैः ॥ ३-२४२-२४ ॥
'Bestowing upon them wealth of various kinds, he bade them farewell. Then, having dismissed all the kings, he entered Hastinapura, surrounded by his brothers, and accompanied by Karna and the son of Suvala.' ॥ 3-242-24 ॥
