ततॊ युधिष्ठिरॊ राजा तच छरुत्वा दूत भाषितम अब्रवीन नृपशार्दूलॊ दिष्ट्या राजा सुयॊधनः यजते करतुमुख्येन पूर्वेषां कीर्तिवर्धनः ॥ ३-२४२-११ ॥
'Hearing the messenger’s words, the illustrious King Yudhishthira, that tiger among monarchs, said: "Fortunate indeed it is that King Suyodhana, the enhancer of his ancestors' glory, is performing this foremost of sacrifices."' ॥ 3-242-11 ॥
english translation
वयम अप्य उपयास्यामॊ न तव इदानीं कथं चन समयः परिपाल्यॊ नॊ यावद वर्षं तरयॊदशम ॥ ३-२४२-१२ ॥
'We should certainly go there, but not at this time. Until the thirteenth year is complete, we must remain bound by our vow.' ॥ 3-242-12 ॥
english translation
शरुत्वैतद धर्मराजस्य भीमॊ वचनम अब्रवीत तदा तु नृपतिर गन्ता धम राजॊ युधिष्ठिरः ॥ ३-२४२-१३ ॥
'Hearing this speech of Yudhishthira the just, Bhima said these words, "Then, when the time comes, King Yudhishthira, the just, will go thither."' ॥ 3-242-13 ॥

अस्त्रशस्त्रप्रदीप्ते ऽगनौ यदा तं पातयिष्यति वर्षात तरयॊदशाद ऊर्ध्वं रणसत्रे नराधिपः ॥ ३-२४२-१४ ॥
'Do thou say unto Suyodhana, 'When, after the expiration of the thirteenth year, that lord of men, the Pandava, will cast thee into the fire kindled by weapons, in the great sacrifice of battle.'' ॥ 3-242-14 ॥
english translation
यदा करॊधहविर मॊक्ता धार्तराष्ट्रेषु पाण्डवः आगन्तारस तदा समेति वाच्यस ते स सुयॊधनः ॥ ३-२४२-१५ ॥
'When the Pandava (Arjuna) releases his arrows of anger upon the sons of Dhritarashtra, then O Suyodhana (Duryodhana), you should be told that 'they are coming.' ॥ 3-242-15 ॥
