तस्य ते ऽहं कषमं मन्ये पाण्डवैस तैर महात्मभिः संधिं संधिविदां शरेष्ठ कुलस्यास्य विवृद्धये ॥ ३-२४१-९ ॥

sanskrit

'Therefore, for the welfare of this race, I believe that making peace with the high-souled Pāṇḍavas is the wisest course.' ॥ 3-241-9 ॥

english translation

tasya te 'haM kaSamaM manye pANDavaisa taira mahAtmabhiH saMdhiM saMdhividAM zareSTha kulasyAsya vivRddhaye ॥ 3-241-9 ॥
