तत्र यज्ञॊ नृपश्रेष्ठ परभूतान्नः सुसंस्कृतः परवर्ततां यथान्यायं सर्वतॊ हय अनिवारितः ॥ ३-२४१-३१ ॥
'At that very place, O foremost of kings, let the sacrifice commence with due rites, sanctified by sacred mantras, and abounding in plentiful offerings, free from all hindrances.' ॥ 3-241-31 ॥
english translation
एष ते वैष्णवॊ नामयज्ञः सत्पुरुषॊचितः एतेन नेष्टवान कश चिद ऋते विष्णुं पुरातनम ॥ ३-२४१-३२ ॥
'That sacrifice, known as Vaishnava, is worthy of the virtuous. None, save the ancient Vishnu, has ever performed it before.' ॥ 3-241-32 ॥
english translation
राजसूयं करतुश्रेष्ठं सपर्धत्य एष महाक्रतुः अस्माकं रॊचते चैव शरेयॊ च तव भारत अविघ्न च भवेद एष सफला सयात सपृहा तव ॥ ३-२४१-३३ ॥
'This mighty sacrifice rivals the Rajasuya, that foremost of rites. It is pleasing to us and shall bring thee great welfare. Moreover, it can be conducted without hindrance. By undertaking it, thy desire shall be fulfilled.' ॥ 3-241-33 ॥

एवम उक्तस तु तैर विप्रैर धार्तराष्ट्रॊ महीपतिः कर्णं च सौबलं चैव भरातॄंश चैवेदम अब्रवीत ॥ ३-२४१-३४ ॥
'Thus addressed by those Brahmanas, Dhritarashtra's son, the king, spoke these words to Karna, his brothers, and the son of Suvala:' ॥ 3-241-34 ॥
english translation
रॊचते मे वचॊ कृत्स्नं बराह्मणानां न संशयः रॊचते यदि युष्माकं तन मा परब्रूत माचिरम ॥ ३-२४१-३५ ॥
'Beyond doubt, the words of the Brahmanas are entirely pleasing to me. If they are agreeable to you as well, express your assent without delay.' ॥ 3-241-35 ॥
