भवेद यशॊ पृथिव्यां मे खयातं गन्धर्वतॊ वधात पराप्ताश च लॊकाः पुण्याः सयुर महेन्द्र सदने ऽकषयाः ॥ ३-२३८-९ ॥
'Had I been slain by the Gandharvas, my fame would have spread across the entire earth, and I would have attained the blessed realms of eternal bliss in Indra's heaven.' ॥ 3-238-9 ॥
