अनुज्ञातास तु गन्धर्वाः पाण्डुपुत्रेण धीमता सहाप्सरॊभिः संहृष्टाश चित्रसेन मुखा ययुः ॥ ३-२३५-१६ ॥
'Thus addressed by the wise son of Pandu, the Gandharvas were well-pleased and departed with the Apsaras.' ॥ 3-235-16 ॥
english translation
anujJAtAsa tu gandharvAH pANDuputreNa dhImatA sahApsaròbhiH saMhRSTAza citrasena mukhA yayuH ॥ 3-235-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवराड अपि गन्धर्वान मृतांस तान समजीवयत दिव्येनामृत वर्षेण ये हताः कौरवैर युधि ॥ ३-२३५-१७ ॥
'The lord of the celestials then arrived at the spot and revived those Gandharvas who had been slain in the encounter with the Kurus by sprinkling them with celestial Amrita.' ॥ 3-235-17 ॥
english translation
devarADa api gandharvAna mRtAMsa tAna samajIvayata divyenAmRta varSeNa ye hatAH kauravaira yudhi ॥ 3-235-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजञातींस तान अवमुच्याथ राजदारांश च सर्वशः कृत्वा च दुष्करं कर्म परीतियुक्ताश च पाण्डवाः ॥ ३-२३५-१८ ॥
'And the Pandavas, having liberated their relatives along with the ladies of the royal household, and having accomplished that difficult feat (the defeat of the Gandharva host), became well-pleased.' ॥ 3-235-18 ॥

jaJAtIMsa tAna avamucyAtha rAjadArAMza ca sarvazaH kRtvA ca duSkaraM karma parItiyuktAza ca pANDavAH ॥ 3-235-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसस्त्री कुमारैः कुरुभिः पूज्यमाना महारथाः बभ्राजिरे महात्मानः कुरुमध्ये यथाग्नयः ॥ ३-२३५-१९ ॥
'And those illustrious and mighty warriors, worshipped by the Kurus along with their sons and wives, blazed forth in splendour like flaming fires in the sacrificial compound.' ॥ 3-235-19 ॥

sastrI kumAraiH kurubhiH pUjyamAnA mahArathAH babhrAjire mahAtmAnaH kurumadhye yathAgnayaH ॥ 3-235-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ दुर्यॊधनं मुच्य भरातृभिः सहितं तदा युधिष्ठिरः सप्रणयम इदं वचनम अब्रवीत ॥ ३-२३५-२० ॥
'And Yudhishthira, then addressing the liberated Duryodhana in the midst of his brothers, spoke these words out of affection:' ॥ 3-235-20 ॥

tatò duryòdhanaM mucya bharAtRbhiH sahitaM tadA yudhiSThiraH sapraNayama idaM vacanama abravIta ॥ 3-235-20 ॥
