ततस तान युधि दुर्धर्षः सव्यसाची परंतपः सान्त्वपूर्वम इदं वाक्यम उवाच खचरान रणे ॥ ३-२३३-११ ॥
'At that moment, the indomitable Savyasachi, the mighty chastiser, addressed the sky-rangers with words of reassurance before the battle continued.' ॥ 3-233-11 ॥

नैतद गन्धर्वराजस्य युक्तं कर्म जुगुप्सितम परदाराभिमर्शश च मानुषैश च समागमः ॥ ३-२३३-१२ ॥
'This despicable act of the Gandharva king is not proper - both the molesting of others' wives and fighting with humans.' ॥ 3-233-12 ॥

उत्सृजध्वं महावीर्यान धृतराष्ट्र सुतान इमान दारांश चैषां विमुञ्चध्वं धर्मराजस्य शासनात ॥ ३-२३३-१३ ॥
'Release these mighty sons of Dhritarashtra and free their wives by the command of Dharmaraja (Yudhishthira).' ॥ 3-233-13 ॥

एवम उक्तास तु गन्धर्वाः पाण्डवेन यशस्विना उत्स्मयन्तस तदा पार्थम इदं वचनम अब्रुवन ॥ ३-२३३-१४ ॥
'Having been thus addressed by the illustrious son of Pandu, the Gandharvas smiled and then spoke these words to Arjuna.' ॥ 3-233-14 ॥

एकस्यैव वयं तात कुर्याम वचनं भुवि यस्य शासनम आज्ञाय चराम विगतज्वराः ॥ ३-२३३-१५ ॥
'O child, we will follow the command of none but one, whose authority we acknowledge, and under whose rule we live, free from all distress.' ॥ 3-233-15 ॥
