दुर्मन्त्रितम इदं तात राज्ञॊ दुर्द्यूत देविनः दवेष्टारम अन्ये कलीबस्य पातयन्तीति नः शरुतम ॥ ३-२३१-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'Those who come here with other intentions have been overtaken by consequences they never anticipated! Truly, this is the result of the wicked counsel given to a king who is enamored with deceitful games. We have heard that the enemy of a powerless person is often brought down by others.' ॥ 3-231-16 ॥

english translation

durmantritama idaM tAta rAjJò durdyUta devinaH daveSTArama anye kalIbasya pAtayantIti naH zarutama ॥ 3-231-16 ॥
