यूयं चाप्य अपराध्येयुर दर्पमॊहसमन्विताः ततॊ विनिर्दहेयुस ते तपसा हि समन्विताः ॥ ३-२२८-१० ॥

sanskrit

'And you too, filled with pride and delusion, would commit wrongdoing/offense; then they (or those consequences) would consume/burn you, for they are endowed with spiritual power/penance.' ॥ 3-228-10 ॥

english translation

yUyaM cApya aparAdhyeyura darpamòhasamanvitAH tatò vinirdaheyusa te tapasA hi samanvitAH ॥ 3-228-10 ॥
