[वै] सरस तद आसाद्य तु पाण्डुपुत्रा; जनं समुत्सृज्य विधाय चैषाम वनानि रम्याण्य अथ पर्वतांश च; नदी परदेशांश च तदा विचेरुः ॥ ३-२२५-२ ॥
'Vaisampayana said, "After the sons of Pandu arrived at that lake, they selected a dwelling place far from human habitation. They then began to wander through the enchanting forests, ever-beautiful mountains, and picturesque river valleys."' ॥ 3-225-2 ॥
