अहं पतीन नातिशये नात्यश्ने नातिभूषये नापि परिवदे शवश्रूं सर्वदा परियन्त्रिता ॥ ३-२२२-३६ ॥

sanskrit

'How, then, can the wife do the least injury to her lord? I never, in sleeping, eating, or adorning myself, act against the wishes of my lord. Always guided by my husbands, I never speak ill of my mother-in-law.' ।। 3-222-36 ।।

english translation

ahaM patIna nAtizaye nAtyazne nAtibhUSaye nApi parivade zavazrUM sarvadA pariyantritA ॥ 3-222-36 ॥
