ऐरावतं समास्थाय शक्रश चापि सुरैः सह पृष्ठतॊ ऽनुययौ यान्तं वरदं वृषभध्वजम ॥ ३-२२१-६ ॥
'Following him, Sakra, mounted on his elephant Airavata and accompanied by other gods, brought up the rear of Mahadeva, the granter of boons, as he led the celestial army.' ॥ 3-221-6 ॥
