अर्कपुष्पैस तु ते पञ्च गणाः पूज्या धनार्थिभि वयाधिप्रशमनार्थं च तेषां पूजां समाचरेत ॥ ३-२२०-१४ ॥
'Markandeya continued, "Men who seek to acquire wealth should worship these five classes of spirits with sunflower offerings. Likewise, those desiring relief from diseases should also perform their worship."' ॥ 3-220-14 ॥
