अहं हि दवारकायाश च पितुश च कुरुनन्दन तेषु रक्षां समाधाय परयातः सौभपातने ॥ ३-२२-१७ ॥

'Having reposed on them the duty of protecting Dwaraka and Vasudeva, I had gone, O son of the Kuru race, to effect the destruction of Salwa's city.' ।। 3-22-17 ।।

english translation

ahaM hi davArakAyAza ca pituza ca kurunandana teSu rakSAM samAdhAya parayAtaH saubhapAtane ॥ 3-22-17 ॥
