[मातरस] इच्छाम तासां मातॄणां परजा भॊक्तुं परयच्छ नः तवया सह पृथग भूता ये च तासाम अथेश्वराः ॥ ३-२१९-१९ ॥
'The mothers replied, "We desire that, living with thee and assuming different forms, we may be able to devour the progeny of those mothers and their guardians. Do thou grant us this favour."' ॥ 3-219-19 ॥
