धनिष्ठादिस तदा कालॊ बरह्मणा परिनिर्मितः रॊहिण्याद्यॊ ऽभवत पूर्वम एवं संख्या समाभवत ॥ ३-२१९-१० ॥
'Dhanishta and other asterisms were created by Brahma, and Rohini used to serve the purpose of one such. As a result, their number was complete.' ॥ 3-219-10 ॥
