अयं तस्याः पतिर नूनं विहितॊ बरह्मणा सवयम इति चिन्त्यानयाम आस देवसेनां सवलंकृताम ॥ ३-२१८-४३ ॥
'Recognizing that this being (Skanda) was surely destined by Brahma himself to be her husband, he had her brought there and adorned her in the finest apparel.' ॥ 3-218-43 ॥
