असूर्ये च भवेत सूर्यस तथाचन्द्रे च चन्द्रमाः भवत्य अग्निश च वायुश च पृथिव्य आपश च कारणैः ।। ३-२१८-११ ।।

sanskrit

'He serves the purposes of the sun and the moon in places where there is neither sun nor moon. When needed, he acts for fire, air, earth, and water.' ।। 3-218-11 ।।

english translation

asUrye ca bhaveta sUryasa tathAcandre ca candramAH bhavatya agniza ca vAyuza ca pRthivya Apaza ca kAraNaiH || 3-218-11 ||
