[मार्क] ऋषयस तु महाघॊरान दृष्ट्वॊत्पातान पृथग्विधान अकुर्वञ शान्तिम उद्विग्ना लॊकानां मॊक भावनाः ।। ३-२१५-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Markandeya continued, "When that powerful, high-souled, and mighty being was born, various fearful phenomena took place. Even the Rishis, seeking the welfare of the world, observed these terrifying signs on all sides. With anxious hearts, they sought to restore tranquillity to the universe."' ।। 3-215-1 ।।

english translation

[mArka] RSayasa tu mahAghòrAna dRSTvòtpAtAna pRthagvidhAna akurvaJa zAntima udvignA lòkAnAM mòka bhAvanAH || 3-215-1 ||
